BSS(plus 2) offers management stream in affiliation with National Examination Board (NEB), Nepal. The regular classes under the faculty of management in class XI and XII are being offered as per NEB curriculum.
The course aims to impact fundamental knowledge in basic areas of management so that it forms a stepping stone for higher level of management study. In this level, students will be introduced to the concepts, subject matter and elementary skills in various functional areas of management like general management, accountancy, finance, office practices and marketing. The students passing this level will be capable of undertaking various junior level management activities. The course further encompasses Hotel Management and Computer Application as optional subjects.
The College runs BBS program Under the affiliation of TU aiming to equip the students with the required conceptual knowledge of business and administration to develop a general management perspective in them. It further tries to develop required attributes, abilities and practical skill in students, which constitute a foundation for their growth into competent and responsible business managers.
The college runs BIM program under the affiliation of TU aiming to prepare IT professionals proficient in the use of computer and computational techniques in order to develop information system to solve real life problem in the organizational milieu. It further tries to develop students skill in object oriented software design method and data management system. It further target to provide professional training to students by combining information technology with managerial skill. It further prepare student to proceed on the post graduate level student in information management within and outside the country.
The college run BHM program under the affiliation of TU aiming to Equip students with knowledge of and skills in both theory and management practice in the area of hotel and tourism environment including front office, housekeeping, foods and beverage, tour guide, ticketing and reservations, customer service, air stewarding and cruise. It also targets to produce trained and skilled workforce required for the hotels and tourism industry. It also aims to produce human resource who can carry out supervisory/managerial research for the development of tourism.
The college run BASW program under the affiliation of TU aiming to provide broader knowledge related to human nature and society an d also expertise in administrative work. It targets students to demonstrate knowledge and ideas related to understanding of the social policy and develop necessary skills needed to analyze, formulate and change existing social policy. It further focuses to enrich the students with the ability of demonstrating the field visit experiences that covers wide range of opportunities like applying knowledge, skill, and values vital for social work practice using supervision and consultant appropriate for work, etc. And finally it targets to gain Expertise in the six field of social work like advocacy, broker, change agent, counselor, mediator and researcher.
The college runs MBS program (Semester System) under the affiliation of TU aiming to equip the best students with required conceptual knowledge of business and management and to prepare managers in the functional areas of management. If further tries to develop knowledge and skill of the business environment in national and global perspective. It further enhances to encourage entrepreneurial capabilities in students to make them effective change agent in the Nepalese society. It finally tries to develop research capabilities in the students.
Eligibility For Admission
For Plus 2 Course
The Students who have passed the SEE examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of C Grade are eligible to apply for admission.
For BBS, BHM, BIM & BASW
The students who have passed the Plus 2 examination (Management, Science and Humanities with Economics or Maths) or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply for BBS, BHM & BIM program and the students who have passed the Plus 2 examination in any stream equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply for BASW program.
The students who have passed the Bachelor level examination (BBS, BBA, B.Sc., BE) or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply for MBS program.
